General discussion

Avron and the SCWG will send out a second call for papers, reminding people to tune into the RSS feed or email alerts feature of the wiki. This mailing will also announce the Pensacola meeting and LETSI's individual membership. Planned for end of July.

We will use the posting mechanism Schawn Thropp has proposed for the white papers. This involves a "cover page" on the wiki for each WP, with a summary and the comments/discussion. The PC will be responsible for creating the cover pages.

Avron will add Mike and Robby to the scorm2@letsi.org reflector. This is where the WPs are to be submitted. He will also create a scorm2pc@letsi.org reflector for the entire PC. An initial email will be sent to the entire PC re white papers, RSS feed, Pensacola details, etc.

Robby will send an email to the PC and TRWG about white papers.

We will schedule an initial telcon with the entire PC on Monday, 18 August.

Robby suggested that a visionary speaker kick off the October Workshop. The goals of the workshop would be to decide what goes into SCORM and how.

If we get more than 50 people for the Workshop, we will try to find a larger venue in Pensacola. the PC will be given a chance to register early.

Issues related to white papers

The WG agreed to contact parties who have existing, relevant papers and ask their permission to post them instead of creating a "recommended reading" wiki area.

Mike offered to add links on the SCORM 2.0 wiki to other relevant blog discussions.

Near term WG objectives

We discussed the process after the workshop, involving a "Design Document" produced by the TRWG at the end of the year, and getting vendor/adopter commitment to SCORM 2.0 in advance of the Spring SCORM World Congress.

The WG agreed that interested parties should begin work on three support activities and give a status report at the next WG meeting.

1) Design Document
We need to set expectations about the Design Document and perhaps even a draft outline. Tyde suggested that Schawn be involved (on vacation). Val offered some templates.

2) Framework/categories to assist in evaluating papers
Wayne volunteered to contribute some ideas.

3) Proposed schedule of LETSI Technical deliverables
Tyde volunteered to being work on this.
